Significant growth for architects

Due to their recent successes with several high-profile projects, alongside the continued growth of the practice nationally, GSSArchitecture have expanded their Milton Keynes Studio, recently moving into larger premises in order to accommodate this growing team.

Recent appointments include several new graduates who GSS will be supporting through their further studies and development as they take their first role in the construction industry. GSSArchitecture have a long history of supporting the next generation of construction professionals at the beginning of their career, as well as providing opportunities for continuing professional development through training and seminars for all of their team.

GSSArchitecture have already gained a reputation for delivering well-considered and technically complex buildings. The team at the Milton Keynes Studio are currently working on a number of exciting projects in the region, including expansion and refurbishment programmes at Hanslope Primary School, Buckingham School and Amersham School, in addition to the delivery of a mixed-use development at Olney Park. Recent commissions have also included Milton Keynes University Hospital and Milton Keynes College. Further afield, the practice is also working closely with several Higher Education clients, such as St. Catharine’s College at the University of Cambridge, Oxford Brookes University, Corpus Christi College and Cranfield University.

Speaking of their recent expansion, Chris Chapman, Partner and Milton Keynes Studio Lead, said “It’s a very exciting time for GSS, and I am thrilled to be leading the growth in this region alongside the great team that we have built up since our Milton Keynes office launch back in 2016. We have had the good fortune to have worked in Milton Keynes for over five years and it is with great pride we are at the heart of this vibrant and forward-thinking city.

“Often described as the UK’s Silicon Valley, an area of national and international importance with exceptional growth potential, being at the heart of the Cambridge – Milton Keynes – Oxford arc means that GSS are perfectly placed to help clients realise their growth ambitions.”
