Gateley Vinden has bolstered its quantity surveying and project management team in London and the South East with four new appointments.
Simon Dewar joins Gateley Vinden as a consultant, bringing more than 30 years of experience as an accomplished chartered quantity surveyor to the team. Prior to this, he spent 15 years with Gardiner & Theobald before co-founding Navigation Management, where he spent 18 years delivering complex and high-end projects for residential developers and both private and public sector clients across the South East, including multi-million pound luxury retail and commercial fit outs.
Kenneth Lo, Simona Pala and Zorana Randelovic also join from Navigation Management. Kenneth Lo joins Gateley Vinden as a senior surveyor following five years working with Simon Dewar and prior to that he worked in Hong Kong where he managed projects for shopping centres, luxury hotels, high-end residential developments and office fit outs.
Simona Pala joins as a surveyor with more than 12 years of experience, predominately in Italy, working on design and pre-contract cost management and measurement for the public and commercial sectors. During her four years at Navigation Management, Simona specialised in new build and refurbishment works for the residential sector.
Zorana Randelovic completed an MSc in Quantity Surveying at London South Bank University with distinction. Since graduating she has gained exposure to a wide range of projects within both the residential and commercial sectors, focusing on estimating and preparing costs for tenders, before joining Gateley Vinden as a surveyor.
All four appointments will work alongside director, Anthony Meaden, who heads up Gateley Vinden’s cost consultancy and project management offering within London and across the South East. The newly expanded team will deliver cost and project management, quantity surveying, technical due diligence and fund monitoring services across a wide range of construction and development projects.
Gayle Taylor, managing director at Gateley Vinden, said:
“We have collaborated with Simon for a number of years so there has always been a great synergy between us. As well as strong working relationships, all four appointments bring a wealth of experience across several key sectors. They will play an important role in strengthening our offering and I’m excited to see how the team will develop as our client base continues to expand in the South East.”
